Whenever I had my haircut, I felt very refreshed and comfortable. After I got my haircut this week, my father and my mom took my sister and I to Shen Ji New Village. I was no stranger to this place as I had been there before.
Because it was a weekend afternoon, the streets were crowded. Many people took their pets to go shopping, so my sister and I were very excited about seeing lots of cute animals. Because keeping pets was prohibited at home, my sister and I would never take our eyes off others’ cute fur babies whenever we saw them. As soon as we entered the market, my sister and I immediately saw a husky. Its fur was very beautiful, and it could imply that the owner often takes care of it. The owner gave my sister and I approval to touch his pet. The husky was gentle and harmless; moreover, it was not afraid of strangers’ touching. The owner also said that there was a dent in its neck because he was too naughty when it was a puppy.
Compared to vendors of traditional markets, the vendors in Shen Ji New Village were mainly young people. Many young people sold handmade goods, such as earrings, wallets, and even pet clothes. At this time, a stationery store attracted our attention. The narrow shop sells all kinds of goods, such as water brushes, ink pastes, seals, and so on. Among the all assorts of goods, my favorite is seal of Snoopy. To my surprise, a small seal cost $270. I promptly left the store; however, my mother bought a seal of Snoopy without hesitation, and my father and I had no time to stop her buying this expensive commodity. I loved Snoopy, but I would not spend a fortune on merchandise just because of the brand.
There were many street performers in Shen Ji New Village, and some were singing or dancing. Spray painting impressed me the most. The artist painted with spray paint and then used a spray gun to fix the colors. The scene of the flame burning on the painting was very astonishing, but the painting would not be burned to ashes. After watching the show, we walked along the perimeter of the market and saw a very fashionable cat. It was lying on the wall with sunglasses, very well-behaved for people to take pictures. Its cute appearance attracted a flock of people to take photos with it. Golden sunlight filtered through the branche, my sister and I also took pictures with this cat.
As we were walking, we saw someone carrying a Sanhua Corgi. Its short legs and fat body was extremely lovely. The point is that the hair on his back is curly, which is very rare. I was so curious, so I asked the owner how many kilograms it was. The man answered 15 kg, but his girlfriend said that it had already lost weight, and it was currently 13 kg. I snickered that there was not much difference about 2 kilograms. Moreover, its curl fur was really rare reminded me of my brother who I had not seen for a long time. His hair was also naturally curly. After entering the university, my brother seldom went home because his school was in Hualien. I thought he was too noisy at home, but after the noise disappeared, I felt a sense of emptiness. I wished him all the best in Hualien.
