The three-day trip is planned by my sister and I because my parents were busy dealing my brother's scooter accident. It was my first time to plan a trip, and it was quite tough for me at the beginning. My mom suggested me that I could find the tourist spots were densely located in one place so that we did not spend much time in traffic. Moreover, we had better go back to the parking lot owned by the hostal at about 4 p.m. since there were not enough parking spaces.
Toucheng Seaside Forest Park
This was our first step! There were five floors in the Octagon lookout. However, the weather was cloudy, so we could not see Guishan Island. It was a little pity!
Wufengci Waterfall
When I was planning this tourist attraction, I was quite worried whether my brother could afford the mountain road because he was slightly hurt in an accident. To my surprise, he answered me “Yes” when I asked him. What I was shocked was that he even limped on the flat road. Yet, I could almost call him a “superman” since he walked as smoothly as we could. The road was quite wet, so I tightly held on the balusters for fear that I fell down the stairs again.
The waterfall had three cascades, and the road to first and second ones was extremely easy for us to walk. For the third cascade, I had to say the route exhausted me in a rainy day. The stairs seemed never to finish, but I would not give up for I believed the final cascade would astonish me. When I finished the route, the view from the top of waterfall was breathtaking. Our hair was wet due to the magnificent waterfall in wet season.
Linmei Shipan Trail
There were not a few people in the trail, so we enjoyed a peaceful moment. The natural ecology there was well that we saw lots of plants, fish and ducks far away.
In the beginning, the trail was flat, but it was tortuous on the half of way. In view of my brother’s feet, we decided to go back for we did not know how far destination was from us. Thanks to one climber, he encouraged us to continue walking for the rock waterfall was not far from us. My brother also said he could afford the remain route. We bounced back and expected to see the peculiar waterfall. The rock waterfall carries abundant water and flowed down. I really liked the waterfall, particularly in wet season although the weather might be awful.
When we rest for a while, we met the nice person again! This time, he suggested there were delicious vegetarian diet in Fo Guang University, which was near the Linmei Shipan Trail.
